Covid-19 Vaccinations:

From 1 October under the NIPVIP Program, funded COVID-19 vaccines are only available to those eligible for Medicare and who meet one of the following requirements:

  • all adults aged 75 years and over (one dose every 6 months)
  • adults aged 65–74 years (one dose every 12 months)
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 50–74 years (one dose every 12 months)
  • all adults aged 18 years and over with severe immunocompromise (one dose every 12 months).

If you do not meet this criteria, the vaccine is private $150.00 (excl administration fee).

General Vaccinations:

WA Pharmacist vaccination scope has been expanded as of 1 January 2024 and includes the administration of the following vaccines to individuals aged 5 years and over in accordance with the Administration of Vaccines by Pharmacists SASA, the COVID-19 Vaccination SASA, the WA Immunisation Schedule and the Australian Immunisation Handbook.

A $15 administration fee on top of the cost of the vaccine is applicable.

National Immunisation Program (NIP) Schedule.

Maternity Vaccinations:

The NIP schedule (maternal) outlines the recommended vaccines that are available for free during pregnancy.

Stage of pregnancy: Recommended anytime during pregnancy, Disease: Influenza (flu)

Stage of pregnancy: Recommended at 20 to 32 weeks, Disease: Pertussis (whooping cough). Combined with tetanus and diphtheria.

Stage of pregnancy: Recommended at 28 to 36 weeks, Disease: Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).

NOTES:

Bookings are preferred but we may be able to accommodate walk-ins, a short wait may be required.

Please bring to your appointment a form of identification eg driver’s license or passport and Medicare card.

If you do not have Medicare, your vaccination history can be linked to an Individual Healthcare Identifier (IHI) number.

It is a requirement to remain in the pharmacy for 15mins after your vaccination to ensure you are not experiencing any adverse effects eg anaphylaxis.

Your vaccination details will be uploaded to The Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) and can be viewed on your Medicare myGov account.
